Founded in Traverse City, Michigan in 2014, the name, TRAVACE is the fusion of Traverse, to travel across, over or through an obstacle, and Race, to move or progress swiftly, a contest of speed.

Principal Innovation & Design leader with a strong focus on design thinking, aesthetics, functional requirements, customer needs, intellectual property, commercialization, regulatory compliance and branding. I have led multi-disciplinary teams at both the ideation and commercialization phases of New Product Development. Excels equally in startups and Fortune 100 global design offices, where I manage the collaboration of industrial designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams. I deliver high-performance solutions that integrate human-centered design with Class A & B surfaces. 5 years, hands-on experience integrating ‘physical AI’ technologies with autonomy, exemplified by my work pioneering Pickle Robot’s autonomous mobile systems and designing the hardware for the world's first Autonomous Building Management System at PassiveLogic Inc. Twenty-five years of experience designing lightweight, luxurious automobiles and aircraft for the world's top brands. Our team at Epic Aircraft, FAA-type-certified the E-1000, an all composite, best-in-class, high performance, single engine turboprop known for its impressive speed and economical range, with over 154 aircraft “out in the wild” today. My approach to design not only prioritizes aesthetics and performance but also building relationships with the supply chain, all while embracing and enhancing the value of corporate culture. I hold 21+ patents (20 Utility) and have received numerous awards for my work.
